M.A.D.D. Rhythms’ Tap Academy is built on the belief that tap is music, tap is dance, tap is voice, and tap is fight. Our classes honor tap’s rhythmic roots, cultural lineage, and expressive power. We teach tap as an instrument, a movement language, a storytelling tool, and a form of resistance.
Students learn to play the floor, speak through sound, and move with purpose — developing musicality, technique, improvisation, and historical awareness. Our approach blends tradition with innovation, nurturing tap dancers who understand not just how to dance, but why tap matters.
